1.  Can I use the chocolate fountain in place of the wedding cake?

Absolutely!  Many brides are moving away from the standard dessert and have replaced their wedding cake with the chocolate fountain. Average wedding cakes can cost from $3-$7 per guest!  That's $600-$1400 for a cake that feeds 200 people.  Our Basic Full Service Rental is only $399.  The chocolate fountain is as beautiful as any cake and it is a huge conversation piece.  Your guests will not be disappointed. 

2.  Can I use the chocolate fountain outside?

In general, we have to say no when it comes to outdoor chocolate fountain rentals.  The only exception is if the chocolate fountain is completely enclosed in an area where absolutely no wind or bugs would be able to reach it.
The smell is fantastic to both people and little critters.  You wouldn’t want flowing flies in your fountain. 

3.  What is the deposit?

We require a $200 non-refundable deposit to secure a chocolate fountain for your event. We cannot hold dates without a signed contract and deposit.

4.  What else should I know about the chocolate fountain?

We require that you provide a level table, a 120 volt grounded electrical outlet (no more than 10 feet from the table) and the linens and decorations for the chocolate fountain. For the Basic Full Service Rental you will need your caterer to provide serving platters, plates and napkins for your guests to use. 

5.  How many skewers do you bring?

We have over 1000 skewers on hand for standard events (0 - 200 guests).

6.  Will I pay extra for set-up, take-down, and/or travel?

A total of 3 hours is included in our price quote on this website. Our price includes set-up, attending to the fountain during the event, take-down and travel up to 25 miles from the Columbus area.  Of this 3 hours, one hour is for set up before your event and then you have 2 hours of fabulous flowing chocolate.  Additional time can be purchased the day of your event as needed for $25 per half hour. 

7.  Do you take credit cards? 

At the present time we cannot take credit cards.  However, we accept cash and checks. 

8.  How to a book a fountain? 

Call us at 706-464-1671 or email us at
info@chocolatefountaincity.com and we will mail or email you a contract.  Please mail it to the address listed on the form along with a $200 deposit.  The balance is due 14 days prior to the event.

What about double dippers?

You fountain attendant will assist guests in using the fountain properly.  They will also replenish dipping items and add chocolate to the fountain as needed.  Most importantly, they will discourage double dippers and skinny dippers!
